Types of Services Offered

Feeding therapy focuses on building safe, positive, and functional feeding skills while considering sensory preferences, oral–motor skills, and overall comfort. Sessions are individualized and child-led, helping make mealtimes more successful, enjoyable, and stress-free for the whole family.

Articulation therapy focuses on teaching correct sound production and practicing these skills in a fun, engaging, and individualized way. Sessions are child-led and play-based, supporting clearer speech and increased confidence in everyday communication.

Language therapy supports children and young adults in understanding and using language to communicate wants, needs, thoughts, and ideas. Therapy emphasizes all modes of communication, including spoken language, gestures, signs, pictures, and AAC devices. Sessions are individualized and child-led, empowering each individual to communicate in the ways that work best for them.

Social skills groups provide a supportive, fun environment for children and young adults to practice communication, interaction, and relationship-building with peers. Groups focus on skills such as turn-taking, conversation, problem-solving, and self-advocacy while encouraging confidence and meaningful social connections.

Job coaching supports young adults in developing communication, social, and functional skills needed for success in the workplace. Services are individualized and may focus on interview skills, workplace communication, following routines, self-advocacy, and building independence to help individuals feel confident and prepared for employment
Meet the SLP:
Rachel Goldman M.S-CCC-SLP
Rachel Goldman is a pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in speech and feeding therapy. She is dedicated to providing child-led, play-based therapy that is thoughtfully individualized to each child’s unique strengths, preferences, and developmental needs. Rachel believes meaningful progress is best achieved when therapy is engaging, functional, and responsive to the child and family.
Rachel is a certified Natural Language Acquisition (NLA) trained clinician with expertise in working with gestalt language processors. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida Atlantic University and is committed to ongoing professional development to provide evidence-based, compassionate care to the children and families she serves.
Rachel has gained diverse clinical experience across school settings, private practices, and home-based therapy, allowing her to adapt her approach to a wide range of environments and learning styles. She has a specialized experience in feeding therapy, job coaching/ social skills for young adults and the use of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices to support functional communication.
